Everything about Pip: how it watches, how it judges, how feeding works.

What it is

Pip is a pixel pet that lives on this site and watches your trades. You connect a Solana wallet and write down how you trade. From then on, Pip checks each swap that wallet makes against your rules and tells you what it thinks.

Think of it as a coach. It holds you to the plan you wrote. It won’t tell you what to buy, and it can’t trade for you.

You keep it awake by feeding it. A feed burns 10,000 $PIP. A fed pet watches and talks. Forget about it for 48 hours and it falls asleep until you feed it again.

Signing in

You sign in by connecting your wallet and signing a short text message. The signature proves the wallet is yours. A signed message costs nothing, sends nothing and gives Pip no access to your funds.

The message your wallet shows looks like this, with your own address and today’s date:

Example sign-in message
pipbot.fun wants you to sign in with your Solana account:
<your wallet address>

Sign in to PIP. This is not a transaction and costs nothing.

Before you approve, check the popup for three things:

  • Our domain on the first line: pipbot.fun. Any other site name means stop.
  • Your own wallet address on the second line.
  • No amounts, no tokens, and no words like transfer or approve. A sign-in moves nothing.

How it watches

After you sign in, a server watches your wallet around the clock, with this tab open or closed. It reads Solana through Helius, a Solana data provider.

Pip sees each swap from that wallet, wherever you make it:

  • pump.fun
  • PumpSwap
  • Raydium
  • Meteora
  • Jupiter
  • Trading bots and terminals that swap from your wallet

A trade shows up a few seconds after it confirms on-chain. Pip judges it, the trade lands in your list, and the pet says something about it.

Pip watches the wallet you signed in with and nothing else. If a bot trades for you from a wallet it made, Pip won’t see those trades. An asleep pet stops watching, so trades you make while it sleeps go unjudged.

Your rules

You set six numbers, then add anything else in your own words. Pip judges each trade against them. Change them any time from the app.

RuleWhat it meansDefaultAllowed
Max buyThe most SOL you put into one coin in one buy.0.5 SOLMore than 0, up to 1,000 SOL

When a trade breaks a rule

A trade is on plan when it breaks none of these. Buys and sells get different checks.

BreakWhen it fires
Bigger than your max buyA buy spends more SOL than your max buy. With the default 0.5 SOL max, a 0.8 SOL buy breaks it.
Below your lowest market capYou buy a coin while its market cap sits below your lowest.
Above your highest market capYou buy a coin while its market cap sits above your highest.
Over your trades for the dayYou buy after you’ve already made your max trades in the last 24 hours.
Held past your stop lossYou sell at a loss deeper than your stop. With the default 30% stop, selling at −40% breaks it.
Sold a winner far below your targetYou sell in profit, but under a quarter of your take profit. With the default 100% target, selling at +20% breaks it.

Some checks need data Pip can’t always get. If it can’t price a coin, it skips the market cap checks for that trade. If you bought a coin before your pet hatched, it doesn’t know your entry, so it skips the sell checks.

Your plan score counts on-plan trades out of all your trades in the last 30 days.

Your notes

Each time you save, the AI reads what you wrote in your own words and compares it with your numbers. If they disagree, Pip tells you in chat. Say your notes say you never buy above $50k, but your highest market cap is $1M. It points that out. It never changes a rule for you.

How it talks

You pick a personality when you write your rules. It changes how Pip says things. What it notices stays the same: a trade that breaks a rule breaks it in all three voices.

One oversized buy, 2.1 SOL against a 0.5 SOL max, in each voice:

VoiceStyleWhat it says
GentleKind about everything.2.1 SOL on $CATWIF is over your 0.5 SOL max. It’s okay, just notice it.
HonestSays it straight.$CATWIF broke your rules. Your max is 0.5 SOL. That was 2.1.
SavageNo mercy. You asked.2.1 SOL on $CATWIF? Your max is 0.5. Can you read?

Two systems write what it says. Trade events (a buy, a sell, a take profit, a stop) get built-in lines picked for that trade. They show up with the trade and cost nothing. When you chat, an AI model writes the replies. The same model reads your strategy notes.

The AI runs only while your pet is full or hungry. Hungry pets keep their answers short. Asleep pets don’t talk.

Feeding and burns

Feeding is what $PIP is for. One feed burns 10,000 $PIP from your wallet and keeps Pip full for 24 hours.

StageSince your last feedWhat it does
Full0 – 24 hWatches everything. Talks a lot.
Hungry24 – 48 hStill watching. Grumpy. Short answers.
Asleep48 h +Stops watching. Wakes up the second you feed it.

The hearts on the pet’s screen drain from 4 to zero across those 48 hours, so you can see the time left at a glance.

  • A feed resets the clock. Feeds don’t stack: two feeds in a row still give 24 hours from the last one.
  • You sign the burn in your own wallet. It’s the only transaction Pip ever asks you for.
  • A feed counts once the burn confirms on-chain. If the burn fails, you spend nothing.

Your pet never dies. Leave it for a week and you’ll find it asleep, with your rules and your trade history where you left them. A new pet hatches full, so your first 24 hours are free.

Moods

The face tells you how you did before you read a word. These are the moods and what sets each one off:

  • HappyYou stuck to your plan.
  • ProudYou took profit where you said you would.
  • WorriedThat buy was bigger than your limit.
  • AngryThree rules broken today.
  • SadYou took a loss. It is still here.

You’ll also see it eat, for a moment, right after a feed lands.

Safety

Watch-only
Pip reads your public trades. It has no way to move your funds.
No keys, ever
Pip never asks for your seed phrase or private key, and nobody on our team will. Anyone who asks wants to rob you.
One transaction
Sign-in is a message and moves nothing. The only thing you sign that moves tokens is a feed: a burn of 10,000 $PIP. If your wallet shows a transfer, an approval or a different amount, reject it.
You trade, it watches
Each buy and sell is yours. Pip never places a trade.

Each feed takes 10,000 $PIP out of supply. The more pets people keep fed, the more $PIP gets burned.

FAQ

Does it trade for me?

No. It watches and talks. You make every trade yourself.

Can it lose my money?

Pip can’t move your funds, so it can’t lose them. Your own trades can. Memecoins go to zero all the time, and sticking to rules won’t change that.

What if I stop feeding it?

After 24 hours it gets hungry and grumpy, but it keeps watching. After 48 hours it falls asleep and stops watching. It never dies. Feed it and it wakes up with your rules and history intact.

Does it work with any wallet?

It works with Phantom and other Solana browser wallets that can sign a message. It watches only the wallet you sign in with.

Can I change my rules?

Yes, any time. Open the app and press “Edit rules”. New rules apply to the trades you make after you save.

Is it financial advice?

No. Pip compares your trades with rules you wrote. It doesn’t pick coins or tell you when to buy or sell.

Which chains does it watch?

Solana only.
